Mr A.S.D aged 37 (Patient reference number L8562) came to
the clinic for the complaints of severe pain and stiffness
in the lower back since 3 years. The pain increased in the
morning and after over exertion. It was diagnosed as early
lumbo-sacral spondylitis. He also complained of pricking
pain in the right heel since 3 months. This pain was very
severe for half an hour after getting up. He also
complained of severe acidity and burning in the oesophagus
region. He had recurrent headaches on and off, since 10
years.
Patient is intolerant to cold weather, winter season, air
conditioner. He requires hot water for bath. He requires
warm, woollen clothing in winter.
He is working in as a Production Manager in a company. He
is a calm, sincere person. He takes planned decisions. He
thinks before acting. He is mature, balanced and hard
working. He has good analytical skills and a sharp memory,
with a good decision making capacity. He has taken up
various responsibilities and delivered them successfully,
both in the family and in the job.
His case was studied and based on the history he was
prescribed Silica 200 for his complaints. He was also
given Capsicum 30 for his acidity. In the first follow up
itself the pain in the heels had reduced significantly.
There was good improvement in the pain in the back. The
headaches and acidity had significantly reduced.
Subsequent follow ups showed further improvement. He did
not require any painkillers after starting Homoeopathy. He
was very much satisfied with the results and was glad
