Homoeopathy enjoys a universal recognition as a system of medicine having a special role for Chronic and long standing diseases. Chronic diseases are those which have a tendency to last for a prolonged period or have a tendency to recur over and again for months or years.

Fundamentally, the chronic disease have roots in the genetic constitution of the patients, herein, one inherits disease tendencies which surface depending on the environmental circumstances.

It is not possible to enlist all the chronic diseases which can be helped with homoeopathy. Broadly, we can categorize the chronic diseases as under:
